This is the first time Jackson has dedicated an entire song, so directly, to
the people who have accompanied him — no matter how long they have been there.

And from the very first seconds of the music video, it is clear that this is more than just a phrase.

Dressed in black, Jackson stands at the centre of a circle. Around him, every chapter of his life comes together: fencing, gymnastics, the years before fame, GOT7, his solo career and the Magic Man era. His friends, collaborators and fans are there too.

All of his different lives meet in the same place, as if they had never truly been separate.

The message running through the song is simple: Jackson has never moved forward alone.

When he sings about us standing by his side, going through storms with him and showing him what love is, these are not just words added to accompany a new release. The entire music video is built to give a face to that gratitude.

And that is probably what makes it so emotional.

Jackson is not only thanking the fans who discovered him through GOT7 or Magic Man. He seems to be speaking to everyone, no matter when we joined him.

And we, the European Jackys, feel fully included in that circle.

This song made me cry. Not simply because he says thank you, but because he shows us, concretely, the place we hold in his world.
